Starling Nature Sanctuary

Work day description: Removal of Invasive Exotic Species. We will be targeting Amur Bush Honeysuckle.

Participants must wear clothes appropriate for outdoor field work. Long pants and closed toe shoes are required (no Crocs, Keens, or similar type). Water, gloves, equipment and a light snack will be provided.

Meeting location: The Scott Starling Nature Sanctuary is located at the north end of Eagle Creek Reservoir in Eagle Creek Park.

From campus, take I-65 North to exit 121 (Lafayette Rd); turn right at the bottom of the exit ramp and continue north on Lafayette Rd; turn left on Traders Lane; turn right on Wilson Rd. Look for CEES Service Learning yellow signboard marking the entrance to the parking location (it will be on your left).
