Water Resources Field Trip to Lake Michigan

OVERVIEW
Join IUPUI CEES and the DJ Angus-Scientech Education Foundation for a three day trip, June 14 -16, 2013 to Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan and participate in water resource research with the Annis Water Resources Institute on Lake Michigan. This trip has been provided to central Indiana students and teachers for over 30 years! In addition to conducting research work on Lake Michigan, participating students and teachers will also work with IUPUI CEES staff to conduct one day of water resources field work in Indianapolis. Download the 2013 Itinerary for a detailed program overview.
Space is limited to 25 students and 5 teacher chaperones. There is NO COST for the student or teacher participants attending the trip. All expenses are covered by the DJ Angus-Scientech Educational Foundation as part of their mission to support central Indiana students in the sciences.
This unique opportunity is a great way for a science club or group of students interested in environmental science research to experience field work first hand. Teachers will have the opportunity to receive Professional Growth Plan Points for license renewal.
