NSF-Funded Summer Workshop for Teachers

Hydrologic Cycles and Climate Change Workshop to be held this summer at IUPUI.

Dr. Lixin Wang, a faculty member in Earth Sciences at IUPUI, has received an NSF grant to fund his research.  As part of this grant, he is able to offer a great summer program for high school teachers that provides a unique opportunity to learn about hydrological cycles and climate change.  The week-long training program runs from June 12-16, 2017, and will be held on the IUPUI campus.  Participants will have a mix of lectures, discussions, hands on experience, and field trips. The participants receive a $600 stipend and professional growth points.  The program is limited to 10 participants each year.  If you are interested, please use this link and feel free to contact Dr. Wang for more information!
