2009 Undergraduate Scholarships
Carl H. Johnson Achievement Scholarship
The
Carl H. Johnson Achievement Scholarship memorializes Susan
Cornacchione’s father. Inspired by Matt and Susan
Cornacchione’s daughter, it supports students working in
interdisciplinary fields of applied environmental problems.
The applicant must be a full- or part-time
IUPUI undergraduate student who has successfully completed a
minimum of 24 credits, is working toward a degree with a
semester class load of a minimum of six hours, and maintains
a minimum 2.5 GPA. Preference will be shown to a student
who is pursuing a degree in earth or environmental sciences
OR is succeeding in spite of learning challenges. An
academic scholarship of $500 will be provided to the

Central Indiana Technical and Environmental Societies
Scholarship
The IUPUI
Center for Earth and Environmental Science (CEES) has been
awarded funding through the Central Indiana Technical and
Environmental Societies (CITES) to provide two scholarships to
IUPUI students pursing degrees in earth sciences, environmental
sciences, or environmental engineering.
The applicants must be full- or part-time IUPUI undergraduate students who
are United States Citizens
and Indiana residents. The students must be working toward
a degree with a semester class load of a minimum of six
hours. An academic scholarship of $500 will be provided to
each recipient's fall 2009 semester tuition.
